Gracemont Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards, foster a positive learning environment, and support students in developing strong mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Use data (formative and summative) to guide instruction and interventions
Maintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environment
Incorporate effective instructional strategies that promote critical thinking
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding progress
Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and staff meetings
Support school-wide initiatives, including Continuous Improvement Plans (CIP)
Integrate technology effectively to enhance student learning
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (required)
Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (or ability to obtain)
Strong knowledge of math content and instructional best practices
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Commitment to continuous professional growth
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in a rural or small school setting
Familiarity with data-driven instruction and intervention strategies
Background in supporting diverse learners and RTI processes
Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction
