The eye is such an important part of life. A person may lose his or her sight or have to have the eye removed because of disease, accidents, and violence. Eye loss hits close to home when your own family member loses his sight. Due to a stick fight among small children on Christmas eve, a little boy will forever have no sight in his left eye. This little guy is one of our cousins, and that is why we chose to write over eye prosthesis…He recently had tissue reconstructive surgery and is currently waiting for sclera shell paperwork to go through and needs time to recover from his last eye surgery… We want to make eye prosthetics better for him and those others whom have either lost their sight or have had to have their eye removed.
